I'm a professor of developmental science in the
Department of Psychology at Western Connecticut State University. My research interests include social cognition and risky activity in adolescence, emerging adulthood, and adulthood. I'm also interested in promoting students' professional development.

earned my PhD in Developmental Psychology from Fordham University (Bronx, NY). I began teaching at WCSU in 1996. I have also taught at Lehman College (CUNY), Fordham University, Iona College, and Teachers College, Columbia University.
