I'm a professor of psychology at Western Connecticut State University. My research interests include social cognition and risky activity in adolescence and young adulthood.

I chair the Teaching Committee for the Society for Research in Child Development, am associate editor of e-books for the Society for the Teaching of Psychology, and editor of the New in Science column for the Society for Research on Adolescence.

My Background

earned my PhD in Developmental Psychology from Fordham University (Bronx, NY). I began teaching at WCSU in 1996. Prior to coming to WCSU I taught at Lehman College (CUNY), Fordham University, Iona College, and Teachers College, Columbia University.
